5646 Icons: Creator Brands, Sports Balls and 18 Missing Basics
Pixelarticons 2.7.0 ships 5646 icons. This update adds 37 new icons (76 files with their style variants). They come from three places: your requests, the search log, and a check against other icon sets.
You asked for these
Creators asked for the platforms they use to get paid and found. Now the support row in your footer can be pixel art too.
threads: share rows and social profiles.patreon: the current “P” mark, for membership links.ko-fiandbuy-me-a-coffee: tip buttons in a README, a portfolio or a game page.
You searched for these
The site logs a search when it finds nothing. Between October 11 and October 21, one visitor searched for an avocado in six spellings: avocado, avocato, palta, aguacate and more. Here it is.
avocado: recipes, healthy filters and grocery shops.yin-yang: balance, wellness and light-and-dark themes. Searches came in astai jitoo.dragon: bosses, fantasy tags and myth themes.mustache: barbers, disguises and Movember.file-penandcalendar-clock: edit a document, schedule for later.potato,watering-canandkettle: groceries, gardens and kitchens.
A full set of sports balls
Searches for soccer and sports found nothing, so the set now has six balls for a sports picker: soccer-ball, basketball, football, baseball, tennis-ball and volleyball.
18 basics we did not have yet
We compare Pixelarticons with other icon sets one icon at a time. Some everyday icons were missing from our set but were in Lucide, Phosphor and Font Awesome. This release adds them:
- Tools:
hammer,ruler,highlighter,stampandscroll. - Interface:
eject,fananduser-circle. - Shapes and math:
angleandpentagon. - Warnings:
virusandbiohazard. - Places and things:
bridge,sailboat,mosqueandcarrot. - Causes:
hand-heartandribbon, for donate buttons and awareness campaigns.
If you switch from one of those sets, more of your icons now have a match.
Most of the new icons also come in a solid style. ruler, stamp and scroll come in all four styles: line, sharp, solid and glyph.
Search got better too
30 more search terms now find an icon that already existed. theatre finds masks-theater. haha finds laugh. bullhorn finds megaphone. speedometer finds speed-fast. school finds university. herz and oeil find heart and eye.
Free and Pro
The free set does not change in this release: these 37 are Pro icons. The free set installs the same way.
npm install pixelarticonsAll 5646 icons, in every style, come with a Pro license. If you already own one, get this batch with one command:
npx pixelarticons upgrade --key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEYIs an icon still missing? Search for it on the site, or send a request on X to @halfmage. Both lists made this batch.
