4052 Icons — Seven Essential UI Icons Added

Small but long-overdue update: seven essential UI icons finally landed, bringing the Pro set to 4052 icons.

What’s new

These are icons you’d expect to find in any icon library — and until now, they were the main omissions in Pixelarticons. They’re all available in the Pro set:

  • refresh — circular reload arrows (line · sharp · solid · glyph)
  • share — up-arrow out of a box (line · sharp · solid · glyph)
  • trash — classic bin silhouette (line · sharp · solid · glyph)
  • gear — settings / preferences (line · solid)
  • key — access, credentials, authentication (line · solid)
  • circle-question — help, FAQ, tooltips (line · solid)
  • circle-info — information details (line · solid)

That’s 20 new components in total — 3 concepts with all four style variants, 4 concepts with line and solid.

While we were in there, every icon across the full set now has a descriptive name and synonym-rich keywords baked into its component metadata. That means searches like “garbage”, “cog”, or “sync” now surface the right icons, not just exact matches.

Every component also has a 24×24 SVG export preset set by default, so exporting directly from the Figma file just works.

Pro upgrade

If you own a Pro license, pull in the new icons with one command:

npx pixelarticons upgrade --key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEY

The free 800-icon npm package will be updated with the new icons in a follow-up release — I’m revisiting the free-tier Figma file next.

What’s next

Continued refinements and more missing-essentials additions. If there’s an icon you need that isn’t in the set, reach out on GitHub or X.
