4052 Icons: Seven Essential UI Icons Added
Small but long-overdue update: seven essential UI icons finally landed, bringing the Pro set to 4052 icons.
What’s new
These are icons you’d expect to find in any icon library, and until now, they were the main omissions in Pixelarticons. They’re all available in the Pro set:
- refresh: circular reload arrows (line · sharp · solid · glyph)
- share: up-arrow out of a box (line · sharp · solid · glyph)
- trash: classic bin silhouette (line · sharp · solid · glyph)
- gear: settings / preferences (line · solid)
- key: access, credentials, authentication (line · solid)
- circle-question: help, FAQ, tooltips (line · solid)
- circle-info: information details (line · solid)
That’s 20 new components in total: 3 concepts with all four style variants, 4 concepts with line and solid.
Better search
While we were in there, every icon across the full set now has a descriptive name and synonym-rich keywords baked into its component metadata. That means searches like “garbage”, “cog”, or “sync” now surface the right icons, not just exact matches.
Every component also has a 24×24 SVG export preset set by default, so exporting directly from the Figma file just works.
Pro upgrade
If you own a Pro license, pull in the new icons with one command:
npx pixelarticons upgrade --key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEY
The free 800-icon npm package will be updated with the new icons in a follow-up release. I’m revisiting the free-tier Figma file next.
What’s next
Continued refinements and more missing-essentials additions. If there’s an icon you need that isn’t in the set, reach out on GitHub or X.
