About the Gun icon
A side-view handgun with a short barrel, trigger guard and angled grip. Use it in a weapon-select wheel, an inventory slot, a damage or ammo stat, a game-genre filter, or a level-editor palette. It is the ranged counterpart to sword in the games category. Keep it out of general-purpose interfaces, where its meaning is hard to soften; in a store, a 'shooter' genre label is usually the right place for it.
